Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship also known as Maulana Azad National Scholarship announced by the Late P. M of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee during a National Conference of Educational & Economic Development of Minorities held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
This scholarship is given to deserving female students from one of the six communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains). The University Grant Commission (UGC) provides the Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) to students from six minority communities.
An initiative for those who have completed or be in the final stages of submitting their Ph.D. (in Education or allied fields).
