In this piece of article, you will get the complete details of OASIS  SCHOLARSHIP 2022, a scholarship scheme initiated by the West Bengal Government, for pre-matric & post-matric students from the reserved categories. 

The West Bengal Tribal Development Department & Arrears Welfare Department have launched this project to provide financial aid for SC/ST/OBC Students so that they can pursue their further educational qualifications. 

Categories under the Oasis scholarship scheme:

• i) Oasis pre-matric scholarship for ST
• ii) Oasis pre-matric scholarship for SC
• iii) Oasis post-matric scholarship for SC &  ST
• iv) Oasis post-matric scholarship for OBC 

Eligibility : 

• - Applicants must be students belonging to SC/ ST / OBC.
• - The applicant should be a resident of West Bengal.
• - Applicants should be a student studying in class 9 / class 10 standard.     
• - The applicant's annual family income should not exceed INR 2 Lakhs.

Scholarship amount:

The eligible scholars will receive an amount of INR 1,200 as a maintenance allowance every month. The SC/ST students pursuing medical, engineering, B.Sc. in agriculture, M.Phil, Ph.D. & LLM will receive an award of rs.1,200/- per month.
