Maharashtra's State Minority Scholarship Part-II (DHE) 2023-24

The State Minority Scholarship Part II (DHE) 2023-24, a venture by the Minority Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra, seeks to offer financial support to students undertaking graduate and postgraduate degrees in Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, and Education. This initiative aims to alleviate financial barriers by providing selected students with a total annual course fee of ₹5,000 or the actual course fee, whichever is less. By investing in education across diverse fields, the programme contributes to empowering students from minority communities and fostering inclusivity in higher education within the state.

Deadline: 31-Mar-2024

Eligibility: To be eligible, an applicant must: 

  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • hold a graduation or postgraduation degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Law/Education
  • have an annual family income of up to ₹8,00,000

Note:- Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

Benefits: The selected students will receive a total annual course fee of ₹5,000 (whichever is less).
