There are a lot of students in Uttar Pradesh whose families can’t afford their school and college fees. Due to this reason, thousands of students in Uttar Pradesh can’t continue their studies. This lack of educational knowledge among the youth of Uttar Pradesh leads to a decline in the socio-economic growth of the state.
2. For pre-matric or circumscription, the students should be studying in class 9th or 10th and for post-matric they should be passing 10th and studying 10 plus classes.
3. The student applying for the UP scholarship should have an annual family income of no more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
4. Different categories, like SC, ST, minority, PWD, and general, have specific scholarship schemes for which students can apply according to their category.
5. Students should score good marks in the previous classes, at least up to the limit of the UP scholarship scheme, to avail themselves of the benefits of this scholarship.
6. Students cannot apply for any kind of scholarship for various institutions of Central Government, State Government, or any other.
UP Scholarship for Pre-matric scholarship for SC/ST/General
This scholarship is for the students of classes 9th and 10th who belong to the SC ST or general category. The annual income of the family of these students should not be more than 1 lakh.
UP Scholarship for Post matric for ST/SC/General category
This is the scholarship for the students studying in classes 11th and 12th who belong to the SC/ST/general category. In this category, the family annual income of general candidates should not be more than 2 lakhs and for SC and ST candidates, it should not be more than 2.5 lakhs.
UP Scholarship for Post matric (other than intermediate) for ST/SC/General category
This scholarship is applicable to students who belong to the SC/ST/General category and are studying at graduation, post-graduation, or at a higher level. The annual income of a family should not be more than 2 lakhs for general students and more than 2.5 lakhs for SC and ST candidates.
UP Scholarship for Minority Community
Pre-matric scholarship is for students studying in class 9th or 10th whose family income should not exceed 1 lakh annually.
Post-matric intermediate is for the students studying in class 11th and 12th and their annual family income should not be more than 2 lakh.
Post-matric other than intermediate is for minority students who are at graduation or post-graduation level and the annual family income should not exceed RS 200000.
UP Scholarship for OBC students
Pre-matric scholarship is for the OBC students currently enrolled in class 9th or 10th having an annual family income of no more than Rs. 2 lakh.
Post-matric intermediate for OBC students is the scholarship to which students studying in classes 11th and 12th can apply. The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
Post matric (other than intermediate) is for OBC category students studying at a higher level, like graduation or post-graduation whose family annual income should not be more than Rs. 2 lakh.

How to find the registration number for the UP scholarship?
Visit the official portal of the UP scholarship on the “student” option and select "registration.”
Then select whether you have applied for pre-matric or post-matric.
UP scholarship registration form will be open. Fill up the form.
When you click on the submit button, there will be an error that will show that you have already registered in the portal and then your registration number will be given.
