Ambedkar Fellowship Scheme for SC Students

Scholarship Details

Students who are currently residing in Rajasthan and pursuing any Ph.D. courses, will be able to apply for this fellowship program. Under the scheme, financial help will be provided to the students belonging to Scheduled Caste communities. A monthly scholarship of Rs.15000/- will be given to the eligible candidates.

Award

An amount of INR 15,000 per month will be given to selected scholars

Eligibility
  • The applicant must belong to SC community
  • The applicant must be a domicile of Rajasthan
  • The applicant must be a post-graduate student having scored a minimum of 55% marks
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a Ph.D. course in any of the following:
    • Sociology
    • Public administration
    • Law
    • Economics
    • Political science
    • Anthropology
  • Age of the applicant should be less than 35 years
  • Family income of the applicants should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs
