Ambedkar Overseas Vidyanidhi Scheme

Scholarship Details

The Andhra Pradesh Government have introduced the scheme of “Ambedkar Overseas Vidyanidhi” to provide financial assistance for Brahmin students to pursue higher studies in reputed International universities in abroad with a view to access the students to the vast opportunities in India. Selected students will received variable awards under this scheme.

Award

financial assistance will be provided from Rs.10 lakhs to Rs.15 lakhs.

Eligibility

• Students should be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
• Annual income of the applicant’s family from all sources should not be more than 1 lakh.
• To apply for the post-graduation scholarship contenders must possess graduation degree in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture Sciences / Medicine Nursing /Social Sciences/Humanities with minimum 60% marks.
• For Ph.D. degree must possess post-graduation degree in P.G course in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences /
• Agriculture Sciences / Medicine / Social Sciences/ Humanities with minimum 60% marks.
• Candidate should have a valid visa and passport before applying.
• The Maximum age under the scheme shall not exceed 35 years.
• The individual can be awarded only once in a lifetime.

• Caste Certificate from Mee Seva.
• Income Certificate from Mee Seva.
• Date of Birth certificate.
• Aadhar card.
• E-pass ID Number.
• Final / Provisional Marks sheet.
• Copy of passport.
• GRE / GMAT or equivalent qualifying exam/test scorecard.
• TOFEL / IELTS scorecard.
• Admission offer letter from Foreign University.
• Non-criminal record report.
• A self-certification will be required from the candidate.
• Photo to be scanned and uploaded.
• Copy of Bank Pass Book of Nationalized Bank.
