Scholarship Details
The aim of the scholarship is to enable talented and capable individuals from the Muslim community to acquire the right skills and qualifications required to grab the contemporary opportunities and keep pace with the rapidly developing world. Students from economically poor families, at least top 300 meritorious and needy students can avail this scholarship.
Award
As per the latest official notification, top 300 meritorious and needy candidates can avail this scholarship and get an award of Rs.10,000/-Eligibility
- The present scheme is available for the candidates who belong to economically poor families for pursuing higher professional education.
- From any Board, the candidates must pass a minimum of Class 12th / equivalent.
- People need to be eligible to receive Zakat under Sharia guidelines.
- In Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level, the scholarship also covers the technical at the same time vocational courses.
- The major importance will be provided to the candidate who pursues higher education in the Professional disciplines of Law, Medical, Engineering, Journalism. Also, special preference is given to Top Universities or Colleges in India such as IIMs, IITs, GLC or IISC, and other well known by UGC/ AICTE.
- Only to the Meritorious and Needy Students after finishing the background verification, the scholarship will be awarded.
- The disbursal will be completed only via Cheques/ Online payments to the respective Institutions. Also, no Cash disbursal will be entertained.
Documents Needed
- All the previous year’s mark sheets of the Professional course. This document will be needed for the students who have already registered in the middle of the course.
- 10th Class Mark sheet.
- 12th Class Mark sheet.
- Candidates passport size photo.
- Address Proof.
- Aadhaar Card / PAN Card.
