Scholarship Details

Asha Jyoti Scholarship Scheme 2022 is an opportunity offered by the NSHM Knowledge Campus to UG and PG applicants. This is a merit cum means-based scholarship that will be given on the basis of the family’s financial standing and past academic performance. The students can apply for this special scholarship programme by visiting the official website of the knowledge campus and filling out the application form with important specifications related to themselves. Selected candidates will receive variable awards.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a UG/PG student.
• The annual income of the applicant's family must not exceed 2.5 lakhs OR must be between 2.5 to 5 lakhs.

[Note - Applicants from Lateral entry can also apply.]

Documents Needed

• For UG Applicants:
  • Original Transcripts of Class XII & Class X are mandatory.
  • For Diploma programs only Class X Transcript is mandatory.
• For PG Applicants:
  • Original Transcripts from Undergraduate Program are mandatory.
• For Lateral Entry:
  • Original Transcripts from Diploma Program are mandatory
• Financial Aid- The merit cum means-based scholarship given by NSHM is assessed solely on the basis of your family’s financial standing and Past Academic Performance.
• For Applicants with Family Income <2.5lacs per year:
  • Family Income Certificate to obtain from any “A1 Gazetted Officer.”
  • Original Class X, XII, or UG Transcripts as applicable.
• For Applicant with Family Income between 2.5 to 5 lac per year:
  • Original Class X, XII, or UG Transcripts as applicable.
  • Income Tax Returns for the Financial Year 2017-18, 2018-19 & 2019-20 for your parents/earning members of the family.
  • Salary statements for the last 3 months of all parents/earning members.
  • Bank Account Statements for the last 12 months of all Parents/earning members of the family.
  • Details of the family’s Financial Assets (movable and immovable property, investments, etc)
• For Businesses/Professionals: Income Tax Returns, Bank Statements, Financial Statements (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for the last three Financial Years) & Form 26AS
• For Siblings of NSHM Students/Alumni
  • Proof of Relation – Birth Certificates & Aadhar Cards of both Applicant and NSHM Student/Alumni
  • Proof that sibling is a Student/Alumni of NSHM – NSHM Student ID Card and Graduation Transcript from University mentioning NSHM
• For Children of NSHM Professors & Team-Members
  • Proof of relation – Birth Certificates & Aadhar Cards of both Applicant and NSHM Employee
  • Proof of NSHM Employee – Employee ID Card & ID Number
