Scholarship Details

Young India Fellowship is an initiative by Ashoka University to transform willing and talented individuals into agents of wide, effective and developmental social change. It also promotes diverse education through interdisciplinary education and advanced research in essentially important subjects related to the present like humanities, social sciences, and the natural and applied sciences.

Award

The selected fellows will receive a partial or complete reward to cover the following young India fellowship costs:

• Expenses incurred for lectures and workshops.
• Resident fee.
• Reading costs, cost of young India fellowship courses, shared textbooks and library subscriptions.
• The programme waives up to 100% of the young India fellowship fees.

Eligibility

• The candidates should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline from any recognised institution.
• They should not be over 28 years of age.
• The candidates should hold an excellent academic record.
• They should also be involved in extracurricular activities.
• The applicants should have written and verbal communication skills.

Documents Needed

• Self-attested copy of the Aadhaar Card.
• Bank account details.
• Fee receipt of current academic course.
• Previous year mark sheet.
• Passport size photograph.
• Income certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Caste certificate (if any).
