Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students

Scholarship Details
The scholarship is for those who are domiciles of Assam and belongs to ST community. The aim of this scholarship is to help the economically weaker sections by providing financial support to reduce the incidences of drop-outs and encourages to complete higher education.
Award
- INR 150 per month for day scholars and INR 350 per month for hostellers for 10 months.
- Books and ad-hoc grant of INR 750 per annum for day scholars and INR 1,000 per annum for hostellers.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a domicile of Assam.
- Applicant must belong to ST community.
- Applicant must be a regular, full-time student studying in Class 9th or 10th.
- Applicant must not getting any other Centrally-funded Pre-Matric Scholarship.
- Applicant must be enrolled in a Government school or in a School recognized.
- Annual family income of the applicant's family must not exceed INR 2 lakh from all sources.
Documents Needed
- Income certificate.
- Domicile certificate.
- A copy of the prescribed application form.
- A passport-size photograph of the applicant.
- Caste certificate signed by an authorized Revenue Officer.

- Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application.
- Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP.
- Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it.
- Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed.
- Step 7: Submit the form and take print out.
