Scholarship Details

The scholarship scheme is for the Brahmin students who are studying in class 1 to post-graduation in Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, selected candidates will receive financial assistance of a certain amount for completing their studies by AP Brahmin Corporation. The amount awarded to the scholars varies depending upon the level of study. It is only applicable for the domiciled students of Andhra Pradesh state.

Award
  • Students of class 1 to 5 will get a scholarship of INR 5,000.
  • Students of class 6 to 10 will get a scholarship of INR 7,000.
  • Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic, D.Ed, TTC, D.Pharmacy or equivalent students will get a scholarship of INR 10,000.
  • CA Intermediate and Final students will get INR 20,000.
  • Students pursuing general graduation courses will get INR 15,000 as scholarship amount.
  • Students pursuing professional courses of 4 years or more duration after class 12 will receive INR 20,000.
  • Postgraduate students pursuing any course of 2 years or more duration after graduation will receive INR 10,000.
Eligibility
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The applicant and his/her parents must belong to the Brahmin community.
  • The applicants belonging from all 13 districts of AP studying in class 1st to post-graduation can apply for this scheme.
  • The applicant must be pursuing a regular course in school/college/institute/university of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The applicant must not have any backlogs in previous semesters/ years and have passed all the subject till their previous year of study.
  • Students must not receive any other government scheme except the benefits from Archaka Welfare Trust.
  • Orphan, differently-abled, children of single-parent are eligible, even if they are studying in private schools of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The candidates studying in class 1 to 10 must be pursuing their education from a government / municipal / ZP schools of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Minimum 50 % marks are required to be secured in the SSC examination.
  • The annual family income must not exceed INR 3 Lakh.
Documents Needed
  • Student Aadhar card with address mentioned on it.
  • Student’s passport size photograph.
  • Income certificate issued by MeeSeva.
  • Caste certificate issued by MeeSeva.
  • Mark sheet of previous years starting from SSC.
  • Study certificate from school/college/institute/university.
  • Bank account passbook of the applicant (account must be in SBI or Andhra Bank); Students studying outside AP may have an account in any nationalized bank.
  • Disability certificate in case the applicant is differently abled.
  • Proof of CPT clearance and proof of registration and fees paid for CA Intermediate students.
  • Proof of IPCC clearance (both parts) along with proof of registration and fees paid for the final exam in case the applicant is in CA Final.
  • Death certificate of deceased parent (if applicable).

How To Apply
  • Visit the official website to apply online.
  • Students have to fill in their basic details of Bharati scheme for education (BSE) Andhra Pradesh such as name, DOB, gender, father’s name, address details, contact information, educational qualification, etc.
  • Also enter proper bank details.
  • Upload scan color copy of passport size photograph of maximum size 50 KB in JPEG format.
  • Upload any other documents in PDF like Aadhar card, income certificate, etc. of maximum size 250 KB.
  • Thereafter, accept the declaration and submit the form.
