Scholarship Details

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship West Bengal 2022 was created by the government of West Bengal State to provide scholarship opportunities for the girls’ students who have recently passed class 12th and are currently taking admission in graduation courses in their nearest college and universities. Rupees 3000 per month will be provided to undergraduate students who are currently undertaking prestigious graduate programs. Apart from the monetary monthly expenses, an annual book grant will also be provided with other extracurricular activities.

Award

• Scholarship Amount will be given by JBNSTS to selected candidates’ bank account.
• All the selected undergraduates students will receive scholarship of Rs. 4000 per month for M.B.B.S/B.Tech/B.E program.
• The selected students from basic science, automatically entitled to the DST-INSPIRE scholarship of Rs. 80,000/- p.a. till their M.Sc.
• Scholars also get Annual Book Grant of Rs. 5,000/- p.a.
• Along With all these, selected students will also get some support in Academic and Career Counselling, Participation in Seminars and Colloquia, Travel & Enrichment Programs, Project Work.
• A scholarship of Rs. 1000/- per month for two years (class XI and XII) is given to selected scholars.
• The selected student will receive Annual book grant of Rs. 2500/- per annum.
• Also receive support to seminars and workshops designed for the young scholars.

Eligibility

• Any girl student having Indian Nationality can apply for this scholarship.
• Candidate must belong to West Bengal.
• Student must pass the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from any recognized board in the current year.
• Applicant must have admission in B.Sc.(Hons.), Engineering or Medicine at undergraduate level in any institution registered in West Bengal.

• Scan copy of 10th standard passout marksheet (size – 1 MB).
• Scan copy of 12th standard passout marksheet (Senior Talent applicant only) (size – 1 MB).
• Image of your passport photograph ([ Photo size – Width 160 x height 190 pixels ]*).
• Scan image of your signature ([ Signature size – Width 160 x height 100 pixels ]*).
• Scan copy of admission proof (Junior Talent applicant only) (size – 1 MB).

  • Read all Instruction carefully.
  • Now click on “Apply Online” button.
  • And fill application form.
  • To apply offline, download application form.
  • Fill complete details.
  • Attach required documents.
