Scholarship Details
Border Areas Scholarship launched by Government of Meghalaya. The government is going to help the needy students who are living in the villages situated near the border. Students belongs to SC/ST communities who are pursuing post-matric studies are benefited by this scholarship.
Award
The selected students will receive variable awards under this scheme.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a domicile of Meghalaya.
- Applicant must belong to the ST/SC community.
- Applicant must be pursuing Post Matric Studies within and outside the State.
- Applicant parents must not be a government employee.
Documents Needed
- Passport size image
- Aadhar card
- Domicile Certificate
- Previous your academic certificates
- Current year admission proof

- From home page go to the service section
- Look for Application form for Border Area Scholarship
- Click on it to open the new page, from where you have to select “don’t have account? Register here”
- Enter all the required details as prescribed
- Click on submit button to submit the form and verify your number
- Log in with the portal by using your login id and password
- Application form will open, enter the remaining details
- Complete the application, upload the documents
- Submit it after carefully review the details
