Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students

Scholarship Details

Financial assistance for the students who are studying in class 11th to Ph.D. and belongs to ST community at the UT of Ladakh. Selected students will receive variable awards for pursuing their higher studies. This scholarship aims to help ST students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary states to enable them to complete education.

Award

Selected students will receive variable awards including -

• Maintenance allowance
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
• Study tour charges
• Thesis typing
• Book allowance
• Book bank facility
• Additional allowances for ST students with disabilities for the complete duration of the course

Eligibility

• The applicant must belong to Scheduled Tribes community.
• The applicant must be a domicile of Ladakh.
• The applicant must should be studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary level i.e. Class 11 to Ph.D.
• Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 2 lakh.
• The applicant must not be getting any other scholarship

Documents Needed

• Passport size photograph
• Domicile certificate
• Educational mark sheet / certificates
• Caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer
• Income certificate of parents/guardians"

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP
• Step 2: Go to the New registration option
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
