Scholarship Details
This scholarship is provided to the students who are permanent residents of UT of Ladakh. The scheme aims to improve participation of ST children in class 9th and 10th of the pre-matric stage, so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education. Thus the incidence of drop-out, especially in the transition from the elementary to the secondary stage is minimized.
Award
Selected students will get Maintenance allowance and Additional allowances will be given to those with disabilities for the complete duration of the course.
Eligibility
- The applicant must belong to Scheduled Tribes community
- The applicant must be a domicile of Ladakh
- The applicant must should be studying in Class 9 and 10 at a recognized institution
- Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 2 lakh
- The applicant must not be getting any other centrally-funded Pre Matric Scholarship
Documents Needed
- Passport size photograph
- Domicile certificate
- Identity proof
- Caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer
- Income certificate of parents/guardians

- Step 2: Go to the New registration option
- Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
- Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
- Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
- Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
- Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
