Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship for SC,OBC

Scholarship Details

Financial assistance for the students who are studying in class 11th to Post graduation level and belonging from SC,OBC community. Selected students will received awards for pursuing their education. The scholarship aims to help those students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary states to enable them to complete their education.

Award

Selected students will receive variable benefits i.e. -

• Maintenance allowance.
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
• Study tour charges.
• Thesis typing.
• book allowance.
• Book bank facility.
• Additional allowances for SC,OBC students with disabilities for the complete duration of the course.

Eligibility

• Applicants should be a domicile of Puducherry.
• Applicants must belong to SC,OBC category.
• Applicants must be a regular student studying in class 11 to Ph.D. level.
• Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 2.5 lakh (For SC) and INR 1.5 lakh (For OBC) from all source.
• Applicants must have passed matriculation / higher secondary / any higher examination of a recognized University or
• Board of Secondary Education.

Documents Needed

• Domicile certificate
• Passport size photograph
• Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degree, etc.
• Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians
• Caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer
• Mark sheets of previous qualifying examination

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP
• Step 2: Go to the New registration option
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
