Scholarship Details
Chief Minister Fellowship (CMF) Programme, 2019 is an initiative by the Government of Maharashtra, India. Launched by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, CMF is a drive to rope in young graduates in the administration. The fellowship aims to help government gain from the youthful energy, passion for technology and fresh perspectives of the youth while giving them an opportunity to earn valuable experience of working within the government.
Award
- Fellowship position equivalent to that of Grade A officer in the government service.
- A monthly stipend of INR 45,000 (INR 40,000 stipend and INR 5000 for travel and related expenses).
- Ten days of leave during the period of fellowship.
- Accidental insurance cover during the period of fellowship.
Eligibility
- Be a youth in the age group 21 to 26 years as of 31st May 2019 (having the date of birth between 01/06/1992 and 31/05/1998, inclusive of both days).
- Be a graduate with first class from any discipline (postgraduate or professional diploma holders will have an added advantage).
- Have minimum work experience of 1 year (full-time internship as part of a professional course will be considered as experience).
- Have basic proficiency in the Marathi language.
- Be able to work on computer and internet.
- Have sufficient knowledge of English and Hindi.
- Be a responsible, enthusiastic and enterprising youth.
Documents Needed
- Scanned copy of mark sheets and certificates of the previous examinations.
- Scanned copy of any internship or work experience certificate.
- 1 audio-visual essay.
- 2 written essays.
- Candidate's CV in PDF format that should emphasize the skills, experience, and academic achievements.
- One recent passport size photograph of the candidate.
