Scholarship Details

Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities, provided by The Minorities Welfare Department Government of Telangana State. The selected students are granted Scholarship/Financial Assistance for pursuing Post Graduate/ Doctoral level courses from foreign universities through this scholarship.

Award

The selected students will receive up to INR 20 lakh.

Eligibility
  • Student must belong to minority community and must be a domicile of Telangana State
  • Maximum age of the student should not exceed 35 years of age as on 26th October 2021
  • Student's family income should no exceed INR 5 lakhs per year
  • The minorities candidates must have a valid passport
  • Student must have secured 60% marks in graduation for pursuing Post Graduate studies in abroad.
  • Student must have secured 60% marks in Post Graduate for pursuing Ph.D. studies in abroad.
  • Only one student from each family can apply for this scholarship
  • The applicants must submit Aadhaar card, passport copy, proof of enrolment in foreign universities and a xerox copy of bank passbook
  • The applicants cannot change their courses midway after applying for the scholarship
Documents Needed
  • A scanned photograph of the applicant
  • Student's Aadhaar card
  • Student's Admission offer letter from Foreign University (I-20, letter of Admission or equivalent)
  • Caste certificate of the applicant from Mee Seva
  • Applicant must have Copy of Bank Pass Book of a nationalised bank
  • Applicant must have Copy of the latest Tax Assessment
  • Date of birth certificate of the student
  • E-pass ID number of the student
  • GRE / GMAT or equivalent qualifying exam/test scorecard of the student
  • Family Income certificate of the student from Mee Seva
  • Mark sheet from SSC/Inter/Graduate/PG Level
  • Passport copy of the student
  • Residential/nativity certificate of the student
  • Salary certificate from the employer (if applicable)
  • TOFEL/IELTS scorecard of the student
  • Transfer Certificate of the student

  • STEP 1: Applicant will first have to visit the official website of Telangana e pass
  • STEP 2: The homepage of the scheme will open on the screen
  • STEP 3: Applicant have to click on the option called Overseas Scholarship Services
  • STEP 4: A new page will open on the screen
  • STEP 5: Applicant have to select his/her category
  • STEP 6: Go to the relevant scholarship head
  • STEP 7: Click on the Registration button
  • STEP 8: The registration form will open on applicant's screen
  • STEP 9: Fill up the registration form
  • STEP 10: Upload all of the documents
  • STEP 11: Successfully, submit the application form
