Scholarship Details

The chief minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi approved the implementation of the Punjab Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme. Through this scheme financial assistance will be provided to the students studying in government colleges of the state. The scheme is specially announced for higher education and will also improve the gross enrollment ratio in government colleges which is very low at present. Financially unstable students particularly of the general category will be benefited from this scheme .The students who are studying in government colleges of the state will be able to take benefit of this scheme. The government of Punjab is going to spend Rs 36.05 crore for the implementation of this scheme.

Award

• Student who score marks in between 60 to 70% will get fee concession equivalent to 70%
• Students who scored marks in between 70 to 80% will get fee concession equivalent to 80%
• Applicants who score marks in between 80 to 90% will get fee concession equivalent to 90%
• Students who scored marks above than 90% will get complete fee reimbursement.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a native of India resident in Punjab
• He/She must hold at least 12th standard passing certificate from a recognised school by state or Central board
• Applicant must enrolled in degree course in a government college
• Students who are already getting other scholarship from Central or state government can also apply
• Applicant must secure minimum 60% of marks in the qualifying examination

• Previous academic marksheet of the student
• Photograph of the applicant 
• Scanned signatures of the applicant
• Bank passbook front page
• Other significant documents
• Fee receipt of college
• Income certificate
• Mobile number of the student
• Email ID of the student

• Step:2Click the Student Registration button.
• Step:3 Fill in all the details and then fill in the upload documents.
• Step:4 Choose the Punjab Scholarship you want to apply for and click on “Apply”.
• Step:5 Fill out the form and submit it.
