Scholarship Details

Colgate Keep India Smiling Foundation Scholarship Program is an initiative taken by a leading global consumer product company Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited. The scheme aims to provide foundational support to financially deprived candidates, who are deserving and meritorious but can’t pursue their dream education due to a lack of resources and funds. This is the time for the students who are enrolled under Class 11, Graduation, Diploma, Engineering, and other Vocational courses to grab this fellowship opportunity and fulfill all their dreams.

Under this fellowship programe, students will be getting the following benefits:

Eligibility

Eligibility Conditions for Class 11^th:

• A candidate must have passed the class 10^th exam in 2020 and should be enrolled in class 11^th.
• The annual family income of the candidate must be less than 5 lakh.
• Must have scored 75% marks in class 10^th board examination.

Eligibility Conditions for Graduation/Diploma:

• Must be enrolled under a 3-year graduation/diploma program and completed the 10+2 examination in 2020.
• The annual family income of the candidate must be less than 5 lakh.
• Qualified higher secondary board examination with a minimum score of 60% marks.

Eligibility Conditions for UG/Engineering:

• Must have passed 10+2 board with minimum marks of 60% in the year 2020.
• Enrolled in any recognized undergraduate engineering programe in India.
• Annual family income of the candidate must be less than 5 lakhs.

Eligibility Conditions for Vocational Courses:

• Qualified class 12^th in 2020 with at least 60% marks.
• Pursuing any vocational course from any recognized university or college of India.
• Annual family income of the candidate must be less than 5 lakhs.

Eligibility Conditions for  Sportspersons:

• Must have represented the state/country at state/national/international level in last 2/3 years.
• Must be ranked within 500 in the national ranking/ within 100 in the state ranking.
• Must be aged between 9 to 16 years as on 30th June 2021.
• Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs.
• Must be affiliated with a Sports Coach or a recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy.

Eligibility Conditions for BDS Courses:

• Must have passed Class 12 board examination in 2020 with minimum 60% marks.
• Must be enrolled in any recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery programmed in India
• Annual family income of the candidate must be less than 5 lakhs.

Eligibility Conditions for Individuals Helping Others :

• Must be involved in activities like teaching a group of underprivileged children or providing sports training to them. 
• Must be from the economically weaker or moderate-income group of the society.

Documents Needed

While submitting an online application form, one should need to attach a copy of these documents:

• Passport-sized photograph
• Valid ID proof – Either of Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter Id Card/Pan Card
• 10th Class mark sheet
• Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other certificate of income issued by competent government authority.
• The latest mark sheet and education certificate
• Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/College ID card/Bonafide certificate (in case admission for professional course already taken)
• Entrance examination result (In case seeking to take admission)
• Disability certificate, in case of any physical disability
• Scanned copy of highest performance achieved (If applying for Sports Scholarship)
• Name & Registration no. of NGO/Rotary/Association/ Not for profit (If applying for general financial support category)
