Scholarship Details

CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.

Award
  • The selected JRF students will get: INR 25,000 per month for the first two years and INR 28,000 for the rest of the tenure.
  • Contingency grant: INR 20,000 per student.
Eligibility
  • The candidates holding BS-4/BE/B.Tech./B.Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS can apply.
  • The candidates should be enrolled into MS-Ph.D. program.
  • The candidates should have secured 55% marks.
  • The upper age limit for JRF eligibility is 28 years.
