Scholarship Details
CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC.
Award
- The selected JRF students will get: INR 25,000 per month for the first two years and INR 28,000 for the rest of the tenure.
- Contingency grant: INR 20,000 per student.
Eligibility
- The candidates holding BS-4/BE/B.Tech./B.Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS can apply.
- The candidates should be enrolled into MS-Ph.D. program.
- The candidates should have secured 50% marks.
- The upper age limit for JRF eligibility is 28 years and 5 years is relaxed to SC/ST/OBC.
