Scholarship Details

The DCE scholarship aims to offer financial aid to deserving candidates who are financially weak and wants to pursue higher education. Several subsidiary departments under the state government of Kerala also provide different schemes under the DCE scholarship program. The DCE scholarship's last date varies for each scheme.

DCE scholarship Schemes Eligibility Criteria

ITC Fee Reimbursement Scholarship

  • Applicants should belong to a minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists.
  • They must be pursuing ITI courses.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 8,00,000

C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship

  • Only girl students are eligible to apply for this DCE scholarship.
  • She should be a Muslim/ converted Christian.
  • The applicant should be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • Merit seat students can apply to this DCE scholarship.
  • Candidates from self-financed colleges can also apply.
  • Hostel candidates residing in recognized colleges are eligible for hostel stipends.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 8,00,000

APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship

  • Applicants should belong to a minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists.
  • Only merit seat students can apply to this DCE scholarship.
  • They should be studying in government/ government-funded polytechnic courses.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 8,00,000

Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award

  • Candidates should belong to a minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists.
  • They should be pursuing 10th/ 12th/ vocational higher secondary education.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 8,00,000

Mother Teresa Scholarship

  • Candidates should belong to a minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 8,00,000
  • Students should be enrolled in Nursing/ Diploma/ Paramedical courses.

CA/ ICWA/ CS Scholarship

  • Applicants should belong to a minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 8,00,000
  • They should be enrolled in CA/ ICWA/ CS courses for this DCE scholarship.
  • The applicant should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the last qualifying examination.

District Merit Scholarship

  • The candidate should be pursuing higher secondary/ vocational higher secondary/ ITI/ polytechnic courses.
  • They should have passed the 10th-grade examinations with an A+ grade in all subjects.
  • The applicant should have studied 10th grade from the Board of Public Examination, Kerala state.

State Merit DCE scholarship

  • The applicant should be pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses from government/ government-aided educational institutions only.
  • They should have scored at least 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 1,00,000.

Sanskrit DCE scholarship

  • Applicants should be pursuing graduate/ undergraduate courses.
  • Sanskrit should be a compulsory subject in the course taken.

Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship

  • The applicant should be a girl child belonging to BPL families or backward communities.
  • She should be pursuing higher secondary/ vocational higher secondary/ undergraduate courses from government/ government-aided science colleges/ institutions.

Music Fine Arts Scholarship

  • The candidate should be studying in a government music college/ government fine arts college.

Blind/ PH Scholarship

  • The applicant should be blind/ deaf/ physically disabled for this DCE scholarship.
  • They should be pursuing courses from government/ government-aided arts and science colleges/ music colleges.

Hindi DCE scholarship

  • Candidates should be pursuing graduate/ undergraduate courses.
  • Hindi should be a compulsory subject in the course taken.

Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship

  • BPL students in 1st year of undergraduate/ postgraduate courses can apply for this DCE scholarship.
  • The applicant should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

Post-matric DCE scholarship for Minorities

  • Applicants should belong to a minority community such as Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists.
  • Students can be from Class 11 to PhD.
  • The applicant should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 2,00,000

DCE Scholarship Central Sector

  • The applicant should have scored above 80% marks in Class 12.
  • They should be studying in undergraduate/ postgraduate courses recognised by UGC/ AICTE/ MCI/ DCI.
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 8,00,000
Documents Needed
  • Self-attested passport size photograph pasted on the Registration printout
  • Attested copies of Mark lists
  • Income declaration – affidavit
  • Nativity certificate from the competent authority
  • Attested copy of the first page of Bank Passbook in the name of the student
  • Accommodation Certificate in case of Hostelers
  • Copy of Aadhaar number / Aadhaar enrollment / NPR

    How To Apply

    Eligible candidates should visit the respective official portal and complete the DCE scholarship registration process. After registration, they should log in to their profile and fill in the application form.The candidates can apply to the DCE scholarships on the following portals:

    • Minority Welfare Scholarships portal 
    • DCE scholarship portal.
    • National Scholarship Portal (NSP) 

    Given below are the steps to submit the DCE scholarship application forms: 

    • The applicant has to register on the respective DCE scholarship portal mentioned above.
    • They should enter all the essential details to register on the portal and obtain a valid DCE scholarship candidate login ID and password.
    • Enter the education board details and also personal contact details to complete the DCE scholarship online registration process.
    • The next step is to fill the DCE scholarship online application form.
    • The applicant should read all the guidelines before starting to fill the DCE scholarship form.
    • Next, they should select the DCE scholarship scheme and enter the required details.
    • Then the students should cross-check the completed application form and upload the required documents for the DCE scholarship.
    • Finally, the applicant should click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the DCE scholarship application.
    • Now, the candidate should take a printout of the DCE scholarship online form and submit it at their respective educational institution along with all supporting documents.
