Scholarship Details
This is an educational scheme provided by the 'Directorate for Welfare of Other Backward Classes and SCs Government of Manipur' for the students who are studying in class 11th to Post graduation level and belonging from economically backward class community. Selected students will receive financial assistance for pursuing their education.
Award
- Reader allowance: up to INR 175 per month.
- Study tour charges: up to INR 900 per annum.
- Thesis typing and printing: INR 1000 per annum (for research scholars).
- Maintenance allowance: up to INR 750 per month for Hostellers and up to INR 350 per month for day scholars for a duration of 10 months.
- Reimbursement of Non-Refundable Fee.
Eligibility
- Applicants should be a domicile of Manipur.
- Applicants must belong to General category.
- Applicants must be a regular student studying in class 11th to Ph.D. level from any recognized institution.
- Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 1 lakh from all source.
- Applicants pursuing regular or distance learning courses can also apply for this scholarship.
Documents Needed
- Passport size photograph.
- Aadhaar Card.
- Income certificate of parents/guardians.
- Last qualifying examination mark sheet.
- Attested copies of diploma/degree/certificates.

- Step 2: Go to the New registration option
- Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
- Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
- Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
- Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
- Step 7: Submit the form and take print out for further use
