Dr. Ambedkar Grant of Financial Assistance scheme to SC Students studying in Professional Colleges

Scholarship Details

Financial assistance for the students who wish to pursue a professional course and belonging from SC community. Selected students will receive awards for higher studies. The scholarship aims to help SC students to fulfill the dream of doing a professional course without facing any financial hurdles.

Award

• Maintenance allowance of INR 1,000 per month for day scholars.
• Fees fixed by the Fee Committee or actual fees payable by the student.
• Mess fees of INR 1,300 per month or actual (whichever is less).
• Room rent of INR 700 per month or actual (whichever is less) for hostellers.

Eligibility

• <li>Domicile certificate.</li>
• <li>Passport size photograph.</li>
• <li>Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degree, etc.</li>
• <li>Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians.</li>
• <li>Caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer.</li>
• </ul>
Applicants should be a domicile of Puducherry.
• Applicants must belong to SC category.
• Applicants must have passed the higher secondary examination or equivalent.
• Applicants must be studying in professional courses in Government/Government recognized private colleges sponsored by CENTAC or got directly admitted in Central/State/UT government-run institutions/colleges on their own merit.

• Passport size photograph.
• Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degree, etc.
• Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians.
• Caste certificate duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP
• Step 2: Go to the New registration option
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
