Scholarship Details

The scholarship provides financial help to the meritorious students who belongs to SC or OBC community and have passed Class 10th. Students must have taken admission in Class 11 or in any professional/technical courses to apply for this scholarship.

Award

• For SC : The top 1,250 meritorious students of SC category will receive INR 12,000 per annum for 2 years after matric.
• For OBC : The top 1000 meritorious students of OBC category will receive INR 10,000 per annum for 2 years.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a citizen of Himachal Pradesh.
• The applicant should belong to SC or OBC community.
• The applicant must have qualified class 10th.
• The applicant should have taken admission in Class 11 or any professional/technical courses after class 10 at a recognized institution within or outside the state.

Documents Needed

• Aadhaar card
• Passport size photograph
• Birth certificate
• Mark sheet of the last qualifying examinations
• Receipts and fee structure of the university (if applicable)
• Caste certificate issued by the competent authority
• Income certificate issued by the competent authority
• Bank Statement of the Student’s Current Bank Account
• Himachali Bonafide Certificate

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP
• Step 2: Go to the New registration option
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
