Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatra Yojana for SC students

Scholarship Details

This is an initiative by the Haryana government in order to provide financial help to the meritorious students who belongs to SC community and currently pursuing education in class 10th to post graduation level. Selected students will get benefits for their study.

Award

Students studying in Class 11 or equivalent: INR 8,000 per annum

Students studying in the first year of graduation will receive:

• INR 8,000 per annum - Arts/Commerce/Science streams
• INR 9,000 per annum - Engineering and other technical/professional courses
• INR 10,000 per annum - Medical and allied courses

The students studying in the first year of post graduation will receive:

• INR 9,000 per annum - Arts/Commerce/Science streams
• INR 11,000 per annum - Engineering and other technical/professional courses
• INR 12,000 per annum - Medical and allied courses

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a domicile of Haryana.
• The applicant must belongs to SC, Vimukt Jati, DNTs, Taprivas and Backward Class community.
• The SC / Vimukt Jati / DNTs / Taprivas students must have obtained the following minimum marks in the qualifying examination: *Class 10 – 70% for urban students and 60% for rural students; *Class 12 – 75% for urban students and 70% for rural students *Graduation – 65% for urban students and 60% for rural students.
• The applicant belonging to backward classes (Block – B) in Class 10th must have obtained minimum marks of 80% (for urban students) and 75% (for rural students).
• The applicant belonging to backward classes (Block – A) in Class 10th must have obtained minimum marks of 70% (for urban students) and 60% (for rural students).
• The annual family income from all sources should be less than INR 4 Lakh per annum."

• Attested copy of Aadhar card of the applicant
• Passport size Photograph of the applicant
• Bank account details
• Academic mark sheet of the last year exam
• Income certificate
• Caste certificate

• Enter the Login details or click on the "New User? Register Here" button.
• The application form will be displayed, login with the required details.
• Select the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojana from the page.
• Click on the "Apply Online" option.
• Fill up the registration form with proper details.
• Upload all of the necessary documents as prescribed.
• Take a printout of the duly filled application form and submit it to your concerned authorities.
