Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship (General)

Scholarship Details

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship is an initiative for General category students. The students who are economically unable to pursue their study the Government will provided the financial help to the students. The selected candidate will received a monthly maintenance allowance and several other benefits. Students studying at class 10 and above are eligible for this scholarship.

Award

• Hostellers will get Maintenance allowance up to INR 750 per month and day scholars will get Up to INR 350 per month.
• For Study tour charges students will get up to INR 900 per annum.
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
• Reader charges for blind scholars up to INR 175 per month.
• Thesis typing/printing charges for research scholars up to INR 1,000.

Eligibility

• The candidate have to domicile of Tripura state.
• The candidate must belongs to General category.
• The applicant studying in Intermediate, Graduate, or Postgraduate course in government institutions.
• The applicant should have passed the matriculation, higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education.
• The student family income have not more than INR 1 lakh per annum.

Documents Needed

• Passport size photograph of the candidate.
• Students attested copy of certificate/degree/diploma for all the examinations passed.
• Original income certificate issued by an authorized Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar.
• Acknowledgement receipt of the scholarship in the previous year.

How To Apply

• Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on 'New Registration'.
• Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking and 'Continue'.
• Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
• Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
• Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
• Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
• Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
• Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
