Scholarship Details

DRDO-DESIDOC, Delhi Apprenticeship 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence to graduates in Library & Information Science and diploma holders in Library Science. The selected graduates will receive a monthly stipend to complete their studies.

Award
  • Degree holders - INR 9,000 per month
  • Diploma holders - INR 8,000 per month
Eligibility
  • The applicant must hold a degree in Library & Information Science, and a diploma in Library Science (2 years) from a recognized university/institute.
  • The applicant must have passed out in 2021 and 2022.

[Note - Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any institute/organization are not eligible.]

  • Examination passed or appearing certificate.
  • Other relevant documents (if required).
