E-Medhabruti scheme scholarship

Scholarship Details

Odisha (Medhabruti) scheme is offered by The Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha.This scholarship is for the students of class 11th and 12th, for the pursuing graduation students,  for the pursuing Post Graduate students . The initiative of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students who wants to pursue their higher education. 

Award

Junior Merit Scholarship

• The selected students will receive INR 3,000 per year under this scheme.

Senior Merit Scholarship

• The selected students will receive INR 5,000 per year under this scheme.

Post Graduate Merit Scholarship

• The selected students will receive INR 10,000 per annum.

Technical & Professional Merit Scholarships

• The Selected students will receive INR 10,000 per annum.

Eligibility

Junior Merit Scholarship

• Applicant should be a permanent resident of Odisha state.
• Student must hold 10th standard examination passing certificate with at least 60% marks.
• Student must going to take admission in 11th standard for fresh application and 12th standard for renewal application.
• Annual income of applicants family should not more than 600000 rupees from all sources.
• Applicant must not getting any other scholarship reward from State government.

Senior Merit Scholarship

• Student must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The students must be pursuing a graduate degree with courses having a duration of 3 years from any recognized institution/ university.
• The annual family income of the student from all sources shall not exceed INR 6 Lakh per annum.
• The student shall apply for the medhabruti only in the year of joining (1st year of the course).
• The student must have scored at least 60% marks in their 12th standard.
• The student must have 12 passed  of CHSE, Odisha/ class 12th or equivalent exam from an institution recognized by CBSE/ ICSE.
• The applicant must be pursuing a general degree or graduation courses from any approved college/institute/university.

Post Graduate Merit Scholarship

• Student must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The student should be pursuing a post-graduate degree from any recognized institution/ university.
• The students must have passed graduation degree and scored at least 60% marks in their graduate degree.
• The annual family income of the student from all sources shall not exceed INR 6 Lakh per annum.

Technical & Professional Merit Scholarships

• Student must be a permanent resident of Odisha
• The student must be pursuing either any regular technical degree or any professional undergraduate degree and integrated course duly recognized by the government regulatory bodies like AICTE, MCI, DCI, etc.
• The student shall apply for the medhabruti only in the year of joining
• The annual family income of the student from all sources shall not exceed INR 6 Lakh per annum
• Student must have passed post graduation of CSHE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE, or equivalent exam, or graduation degree or equivalent 3-year course (Only for MBA, MCA, MFC, MSW) with 60% or more marks

• Students must have Proof of annual income
• Residential proof of the student
• Students Mark sheet and certificates of last qualifying examination
• Bank account details of the student
• College lD card of the student
• Students must have Aadhaar card

• Step 1: Visit the official website of the state scholarship portal Odisha
• Step 2: Select the relevant scholarship scheme, fill in the details and register.
• Step 3: After successful registration, fill in all the sections with the required details and upload the relevant documents.
• Step 4: Finally, submit the scholarship application.
