Fellowship Scheme for M.Phil. and Ph.D. Students (SEBC)

Scholarship Details

The aim of this fellowship program is to give financial support to the SEBC students who are ambitious and desire to study further but drop their plan due to finance and thus uplift the level of education in the state. Under this scheme government will provide financial help to the students to pursue M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees.

Award

• M.Phil. students - INR 25,000/-
• Ph.D. students - INR 30,000/-

Eligibility

• The applicant should be Indian citizen and natives of Gujarat only.
• The applicant must belonging to SEBC Category.
• Annual income of the applicant's family should be less than Rs. 1,20,000/- for rural area.
• Annual income of the applicant's family should be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- for urban area.

Documents Needed

• Copy of Aadhaar Card.
• Income Certificate.
• Caste Certificate From the Competent Authority.
• School Leaving Certificate.
• Bonafide Certificate.
• Previous academic mark sheet.
• First Page of Bank Pass book / Cancelled Cheque.
• Hostel Certificate (for hostellers).
• Fee Receipt of Current Course Year.
• Thesis Typing / Printing Bill.

• Visit the official website.
• You should look for “BCK-98 Fellowship Scheme For M.Phil, Ph.D Students(SEBC)” link
  from the scholarships list.
• Now choose apply online option and register yourself first.
• Enter the details as asked on the screen.
• After registration, login the portal by using username, password and captcha code.
• Choose login option appear next to the blank to open the dashboard on the screen.
• Choose “request a new service” option, search for the scholarship scheme by entering the name and hit go button.
• Click on the name of the scheme, then continue to service option.
• Fill the details in the application as asked.
• Upload the prescribed documents and select submit option.
