Scholarship Details

Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students is a scheme which is provided by The Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra. The initiative of this scholarship is to provide financial help to the SC student who are needy meritorious student. 10 pass student are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The selected students will receive multiple awards.

Award

"Maintenance allowance is provided as per Group I, Group II, Group III, Group IV per month for up to 10 months.

1.Day Scholars students will received-
Group I - INR 550 per month
Group II - INR 530 per month
Group III - INR 300 per month
Group IV - INR 230 per month

2. Hostellers will received-
Group I - INR 1200 per month
Group II - INR 820 per month
Group III - INR 570 per month
Group IV - INR 380 per month

3. Additional allowances of up to INR 150 per month for SC students with disabilities

In addition to the maintenance allowance, all mandatory fees/compulsory payable fees i.e. (Tuition Fees, Exam Fees & other Fees) by the student to the institutes are covered under this scheme"

Eligibility

• 1. Applicant must be resident of Maharashtra
• 2. Applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Neo Buddhist community
• 3. student should have completed SSC or equivalent matric
• 4. pursuing studies at the post-matric level
• 5. Students' annual family income less than or equal to INR 2,50,000

Documents Needed

• 1. Student should have Income Certificate (Issued by Tahsildar).
• 2. Student should have Cast Certificate.
• 3. Marksheet for last appeared examination.
• 4. Marksheet for SSC or HSC of the student.
• 5. Father date Certificate(if required).
• 6. Gap & Self Declaration of the student (if required).
• 7. Hostel Certificate of the student (if required).
• 8. Husband Income Certificate(if the girl is married).

• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
