HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship

Scholarship Details

It offers scholarships to students across the country from class 9th to General and Professional Undergraduate courses. It aims to provide financial assistance to help students continue and complete their education, especially those whose families have been impacted due to the pandemic, resulting in a risk of the students discontinuing their education. In addition, in due course, the program will also offer selected candidates additional support which could include mental health and wellness counselling, career counselling and mentorship.

Award

Under this scholarship program, three types of scholarships are offered based on the qualification of the candidates. 

• For Class 9 to 12 Students the  scholarship amount is Rs 15000.00 (for Rural Students ) and Rs 20000.00 (for Urban Students)
• For General UG Courses the  scholarship amount is Rs 40000.00
• For Professional UG Courses the  scholarship amount is Rs 100000.00

Eligibility

• Citizenship-Only Indian citizens can apply for the Scheme.
• Family Income Level-The annual income of the family from all the sources should not be more than 6 lakhs.
• Special Conditions-
  • Students who have lost their parents or earning member of the family.
  • Students of the families that have lost their livelihood due to the Covid.
  • Students whose parents are employed under HDFC Limited and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.
• Educational Qualification-
  • For 9th to 12th Standard-Applicant must be enrolled in class IX-XII in a recognized school across India.
  • For UG General Course-Candidate should be studying in UG general courses such as BA/ B.Com./ B.Sc. etc. in a recognized university/ institution across India.
  • For UG Professional Course-Candidate must be enrolled in any of the professional UG course such as B. Tech/ B.Arch./ MBBS/ LLB etc. in a recognized institution.

How To Apply

• Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page’ (If not registered - Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile number/Gmail account.)
• You will now be redirected to the ‘HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2022-23’ application form page.
• Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
• Fill in the required details in the online application form.
• Upload relevant documents.
• Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 
• If all the details filled in the application are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
