Scholarship Details

Under the ECS scholarship, the students who are unable to bear the cost of education due to personal/family crisis or any other financial problems and are at a risk of dropping out are provided with monetary assistance of up to INR 75,000 for their studies.

Award

The candidates' HDFC Bank parivartan's ECS scholarship awards vary according to their class levels. The monetary benefits are as follows:

  • The selected school students applying for the HDFC Bank parivartan's ECS scholarship will receive INR 35,000.
  • Students pursuing a diploma, polytechnic, bachelors, or masters in non-professional courses will receive INR 45,000. .
  • Those studying an undergraduate or postgraduate in professional degree will receive INR 75,000.
Eligibility
  • Students who are currently studying in Class 6th to 12thfrom any Government Aided or Private school can apply for HDFC Bank ECS Scholarship Scheme.
  • Students who are pursuing ITI, Diploma, Undergraduate, Post Graduate, or Ph.D. course from AICTE/UGC/State/Central Government recognized colleges/universities, are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Students must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks. 
  • Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh (2,50,000).
  • Students, who are economically very poor and can’t afford their educational cost or dropping out due to any person or family crisis, can apply for HDFC Scholarship Scheme. In that case, there is no minimum marks requirement.

  • Passport size photograph.
  • Last year’s marksheets (2019-20) (In case, you don’t have a marksheet for 2019-20 session, please upload the marksheet of 2018-19 session.)
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving Licence).
  • Current Year Admission Proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate).
  • Applicant Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque.
  • Income Certificate (Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch/BDO/SDO/SDM/Affidavit).
  • Proof of family/personal crisis (if any)
