Scholarship Details
Beti Hai Anmol Yojna, Himachal Pradesh 2022 is an initiative of the Government of Himachal Pradesh for girl children of BPL families. The main purpose of the scheme is to encourage the education of the girl child of BPL families, and this scheme would provide assistance to up to 2 girl children of the BPL family. This scheme aims to make the girl self-reliant with necessary financial assistance and education.
Award
The selected candidates will receive financial assistance at the time of the birth of the girl child and then an annual scholarship would be given.
Eligibility
- The candidate must be a domicile of India.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Himachal Pradesh.
- Applicant must be a girl child only.
- The girl child must belong to a BPL category i.e., below the poverty line.
- From each BPL family, only two girl children are eligible for this scheme.
Documents Needed
The documents required are as follows:
- Photocopy of Bonafide Himachali Certificate.
- Identity Proof of the Applicant.
- Birth Certificate of the Applicant.
- BPL Certificate.
- Letter from Head Master of the School of the applicant (in case the applicant is studying).
