Scholarship Details

West Bengal government has offered a Hindi Scholarship Scheme for this academic year. This scholarship will support all the students enrolled in minority classes for their professional courses & careers. During the time of scholarship, all the candidates are given good facilities for their further studies to focus on their studies and brighten their name All Over the country through this scholarship. The West Bengal government & authority grant Hindi Scholarship Scheme to those who have passed their class 10, and also the scholarship is available to 10 students – Master degree – Ph.D. The only objective of the scholarship is non-state, to make them aware of the Hindi language as Hindi is our national language.

Award
  • For Higher secondary-Hindi must be a subject in the H.S. course and student must secure 60% marks in aggregate in the Matric Exam (Madhyamik/CBSE/ICSE etc.). Amount of Rs. 300 per month will be given to 143 students.
  • For Graduation (UG)- Hindi must be a subject in the U.G course and student must secure 60% marks in their HS Exam. Amount of Rs. 500 per month will be given to 72 students.
  • For Post-Graduation (PG)-Hindi must be a subject in the P.G course and student must secure 60% marks in their in Graduation or Post-Graduation as the case may be, as well as research. Amount of Rs. 1000 per month will be given to 24 students.
Eligibility
  • Applicant must belong to the non-Hindi speaking state.
  • Permanent residence of West Bengal.
  • Students must have passed Madhyamik, higher secondary, graduation, post-graduation or any other equivalent degree in the same year of application.
  • Candidate should have taken admission in any recognized full-time course with Hindi as the sole subject or as one of the combination subjects.
  • Students who scored at least 60% marks in the last examination.
  • Candidate must be passed the previous exam first attempt.
  • The student having Hindi as one of the subject in the respective course are eligible.
  • Candidates studying in the B. Ed or B.T Course, having both the courses and content of teaching Hindi are eligible.
  • Students who registered themselves for the study of M. Phil or Ph.D. or M. Litt in Hindi.

  • Mobile Number of the Parent/Guardian.
  • Passport size pictures of the applicants.
