HSCST Fellowship for Ph.D.

Scholarship Details

This scholarship is for postgraduate degree holders and will involve full-time research work leading to a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject areas from any of the Institute/University in Haryana. This scholarship offers research fellowships to students who have chosen CSIR-JRF. But, students must have qualified at least CSIR-LS NET.

Award

• Candidates who have qualified JRF-NET (CSIR/UGC) will be given fellowship of Rs.31,000/- per month for Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
• Rs.35,000/- will be given to the applicants for Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
• Candidates who have qualified LS-NET, will be provided with fellowship of Rs. 18,000/- for Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
• Fellowship amount of Rs.21,000/- per month for Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
• Annual contingency grant of Rs.20,000/- will be provided to the University / Institution.

NOTE: The fellowship will be given for 3 years of period which is extendable to fourth and fifth year as per terms and conditions.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be from Haryana.
• The applicant must hold M.Sc. or equivalent degree in any of the subjects i.e. Life Science, Physical Science, Chemical Science, Mathematical Science, Earth Atmospheric Ocean, Planetary Science with minimum 55% marks.
• The applicant should have qualified JRF-NET (CSIR/UGC) & LS-NET in joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for lectureship (NET) held on 16.06.2019.
• The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years as on 1.1.2019 (5 years of relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants).
• The applicant must not availing fellowship/ financial assistance from any other source.

• Aadhaar Card of the applicant.
• 10th standard certificate for age proof.
• M.Sc. final year certificate.
• NET certificate.
• Caste certificate.
• Disability certificate (in case of physically handicapped).

How To Apply

1. Visit "www.saralharyana.gov.in."

2. Click on "New User" or "Register Here".

3. Create your Login ID and password. (To verify your account, the students must submit verification code which is received by the applicant on his/her email ID or registered mobile number by Saral Haryana through email/message)

4. Log in by entering your User ID and password.

5. Fill the application form.

6. Click on Apply for Services & select application form for HSCSIT Fellowship.

7. Fill all the required details and upload the required documents.

8. Submit e-form and you will get SARAL ID number for further use.

9. Take a print out of online submitted application form for further record.

NOTE: Application received without full required details will be summarily rejected.
