INSPIRE Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC candidates

Scholarship Details

The Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scholarship offers to the rank holders of Class XII board examination. Financial assistance will be provided to encourage and motivate them for higher education. The scholarship amount will be provided to General/SC/ST/OBC community students.

Award

• The selected scholars get a scholarship worth INR 80,000 per annum
• INR 20,000 yearly for summer research projects
• A monthly scholarship of INR 5000 will also be provided

Eligibility

• The students should be of 17-22 years of age.
• Candidates must be top 1% of successful students in terms of aggregate marks in the Class 12th exam.
• The candidates must be enrolled in courses such as Natural or Basic Sciences at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level after Class 12th.
• The applicants who are among top 10000 rankers in AIEEE exam and cleared CBSE PMT and opted to study basic science can apply.
• The candidates who are admitted to IISER, NISER, DAE-CBS and KVPY scholars who are pursuing BSc or MSc degrees in Natural Science can apply.

• Step 1: Visit the official website
• Step 2: Go to the New registration option
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form
