Girls Attendance Scholarship

Scholarship Details

This scheme is for SC/ST girl students who take admission in class 9th after passing Middle Standard Examination. The girls under this scheme should not have completed 16 years age as on 31st March of the year. A financial help will be provided to encourage them for higher education.

Award

A sum of Rs.3000/- would be deposited under term deposit / fixed deposit in a public sector bank or in a post office in the name of every eligible girl child.

Eligibility

• All SC/ST girls who have passed class VIII.
• Girls who pass class VIII examination from Kastrurba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (irrespective of whether they belong to Scheduled Castes or Tribes) and enroll for class IX in State/UT Government, Government-aided or local body schools.
• Girls should be below 16 years of age ( as on 31st March) on joining class IX.

NOTE: Married girls, girls studying in private un-aided schools and enrolled in schools run by Central Government are not eligible to apply.

Documents Needed

• Passport Size Photograph.
• Aadhaar Card (UID / EID No).
• Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
• Previous year(s) mark sheet(s).
• SC / ST Category Certificate (Issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar).
• Middle Pass Certificate from KGBV (in case of General Category Girls).
• Latest Bank Statement of the Students Bank Account.

• Step 2: Go to the New registration option
• Step 3: Enter the required details in the registration application
• Step 4: Complete the registration by verifying the number and email ID by enter the OTP
• Step 5: Now go to the apply link of the scholarship you wish to apply for and click on it
• Step 6: Fill the application form and Upload the documents as prescribed
• Step 7: Submit the form and take print out
