Scholarship Details
JBNSTS Scholarship 2023 is a financial opportunity offered to the students of West Bengal. Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) has launched JBNSTS Junior and JBNSTS Senior scholarships for class 10th, as well as class 11th and class 12th students. JBNSTS selects students for these scholarships through the JBNSTS Junior and Senior Talent Search Test. The online application process for the JBNSTS Junior and Senior Talent Search Test is currently underway on the JBNSTS official website: www.jbnsts.ac.in. The last date for online registration is July 31st, 2023. The application fee for JBNSTS Junior is INR 100 and JBNSTS Senior is INR 200 (non-refundable).
Award
Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search awards remuneration to selected candidates. Some amount is awarded on a monthly basis and a certain amount is granted annually. Details of this scholarship award are mentioned in the following sections.Eligibility
Applicants under this category must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- She/they/he must have completed Madhyamik Siksha or 10th Class or an equivalent exam in the preceding year (in 2022 if applying for Jagdish Chandra Bose Scholarship 2023).
- She/they/he must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate
- She/they/he should be enrolled in the 11th Class in Science stream in the present year in any school/college in West Bengal
- She/they/he should have chosen any of the 3 subjects from the Science stream viz; Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Statistics.
- Any applicant for JBNSTS Senior Talent Search is required to adhere to the following criteria:
- She/they/he must have either cleared 12th Class or be currently enrolled in this class
- She/they/he must procure admission to a Science undergraduate course
- She/they/he must opt for their UG studies in any university/college in West Bengal
