Scholarship Details
The scheme is for encouraging meritorious girl students to study further. Every year the state-sponsored scheme provides financial security to 2000 top meritorious girls. The scholarship is merit based and strictly reserved for those who enroll as a regular student in any recognized institution under government-aided or private for professional or technical courses.
Award
INR 15,000 per annum will be provided to selected girl candidates
Eligibility
- Girl students studying under the Himachal Pradesh Board of Education can apply.
- Students must have passed class 12 from any stream under the H.P. Board of Education.
- Those who are pursuing/enrolling in post 10+2 courses such as Academic, Professional or Technical under Government aided or private institutions are eligible for the Scholarship.
NOTE: No family income limit is required as this is completely a merit based scholarship.
Documents Needed
- Aadhaar Card.
- Passport size photograph.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Class 12th pass Certificate.
- Class/Diploma Certificate or Admission Certificates. (if any)
- Copy of fee receipt.
- Copy of the selection letter granted by the educational authority.
- Copy of Bank Passbook.

- Visit the National Scholarship Portal.
- Click on New Registration button.
- Choose the State of Domicile, Scholarship Scheme, Scholarship Category.
- Enter all the information as required.
- Submit by clicking on the Register button.
- OTP will be generated after mobile number verification. Use it to log in.
- Fill the application form as prescribed.
- Application ID and Password will be given for future references. Save the details.
