West Bengal Kanyashree Prakalpa is a conditional cash transfer scheme launched by the Government of West Bengal in 2013. The scheme aims to empower and support the education of girl students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in the state.
Under the Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme, girls between the ages of 13 and 18 receive an annual scholarship, known as the Kanyashree scholarship, to support their educational expenses.
Additionally, there is a one-time grant called the Kanyashree K2, which is provided to girls when they turn 18 years of age, provided they are unmarried and have continued their education

Step 1: Download the application form from the official website of the scheme or from the nearest Kanyashree Prakalpa designated institution. The link to the website is: https://wbkanyashree.gov.in/
Step 2: Fill out the application form carefully and attach all the required documents, as mentioned in the next section.
Step 3: Submit the application form to the Headmaster/ Principal of your school or at the nearest institution designated for Kanyashree Prakalpa applications.
Step 4: The submitted application will undergo a verification process by the concerned authorities. They will assess the eligibility and authenticity of the provided information.
Step 5: Upon approval, the beneficiary will start receiving the benefits of the Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme in her bank account. This may include the annual Kanyashree scholarships and, upon turning 18, the one-time Kanyashree K2 grant.
