Scholarship Details
The candidates from Minority Communities i.e. Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist & Parsis who are willing to pursue M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses in any of the subjects from Government recognized University, can apply for this scholarship. Selected candidates will received various benefits for completing their higher education.
Award
- Fellowship up to Rs.25,000/- per month
- Contingency allowance of Rs.10,000/- per annum
Eligibility
- The candidate should be a domicile of Karnataka
- The candidate must belong to a minority community
- Candidate’s age should be less than 35 years
- The annual income of the candidate's family should not exceed Rs.6 Lakh
- The candidate must have passed the post-graduation exam in the concerned subject
- The candidate should not be a Government Employee or any full-time employee in any private company
- The candidate should be pursuing higher studies such as regular and full-time M.Phil. / Ph. D Degree in govt. recognized universities/institutions/colleges
