Scholarship Details

The Madhya Pradesh Khiladi Protsahan Yojana (MPKPY) 2023, introduced by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, stands as a commendable initiative. It extends financial support to construction workers and their family members who have displayed exceptional prowess in sports. Established in 2014, this program is overseen by the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Recipients of this scheme are rewarded with up to INR 50,000 in addition to other one-time benefits. MPKPY not only recognizes sporting talent but also offers a lifeline to those working in the construction sector, fostering their athletic aspirations and ensuring their well-being.

Incentive amount for being the winner in District/Divisional/State level sports by the board

Level: District level

• Category A: INR 10,000 
• Category B: INR 5,000

Level: Divisional level

• Category A: 25,000 
• Category B: 15,000

Level: State level:

• Category A: 50,000
• Category B: 30,000 
  
  Note: The said incentive amount will be payable separately for each year of selection.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• be at least 15 years of age
• be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh
• be a ward of a registered construction worker in Madhya Pradesh
• have won a medal or trophy in a sports competition organized by the MPKPY, Madhya Pradesh State Sports Council, or a recognized sports association
