Scholarship Details

Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Overseas Vidya Nidhi, Telangana is provided by The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Telangana. Main initiative to provide financial assistance to the students wants to pursuing education from abroad. The benefit will be provided to foreign university students who belong to the backward community in India. The selected students will receive up to INR 20 lakh under this scheme.

Award

• The selected students will receive up to INR 20 lakh.
• The students will receive the living expenses, that they can be used for obtaining a Visa from the respective Embassy by way of a grant.
• The scholars will receive One way Lower fare by economy class through the shortest route.

Eligibility

• Maximum age of the student should not exceed 35 years of age as on 1st July of the year of advertisement
• The annual family income of the applicants should be less than INR 5 Lakh per annum.
• Student must have secured a minimum of 60% in graduation
• Student must have a valid TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/GMAT/PTE with the following minimum scores-
  • TOEFL - 60
  • IELTS - 6.0
  • GRE - 260
  • GMAT - 500
  • PTE - 50
• The applicant should possess a valid passport
• Student must have obtained admission to an accredited foreign university

Documents Needed

• Student's Caste certificate issued by Mee Seva
• Student's Income certificate issued by Mee Seva
• Date of birth certificate of the student
• E-pass ID number of the student
• Aadhar card of the student
• Students Mark sheet from SSC/Inter/Graduate/PG level
• Residential/nativity certificate of the student
• Copy of bank passbook of a nationalized bank
• A scanned photograph of the applicant
• Student must have Admission offer letter from Foreign University
• Passport copy of the student

• STEP 2: The homepage of the scheme will open on the screen
• STEP 3: Applicant have to click on the option called Overseas Scholarship Services
• STEP 4: A new page will open on the screen
• STEP 5: Applicant have to select his/her category
• STEP 6: Go to the relevant scholarship head
• STEP 7: Click on the Registration button
• STEP 8: The registration form will open on applicant's screen
• STEP 9: Fill up the registration form
• STEP 10: Upload all of the documents
• STEP 11: Successfully, submit the application form
