Scholarship Details

The scholarship is for Minority students who are studying in Class 1 to post-graduation of all government/aided/recognized public schools or graduation / post-graduation from a recognized colleges/professional/technical institutions in Delhi. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students to continue their education. Thus the number of drop-outs can be minimized.

Award

Class 1 to 8

  • No minimum marks criteria - INR 1,000 per annum

Class 9 to 10

  • 55% to 60% marks in the previous class - INR 1,620 per annum
  • Above 60% marks in the previous class - INR 2,040 per annum

Class 9 to 12 

  • 55% to 70% marks in the previous class - INR 3,000 per annum
  • Above 70% marks in the previous class - INR 4,500 per annum

Professional degree course students

  • For hostellers - INR 1,620 per month for 12 months
  • For day scholars - INR 900 per month for 12 months

Professional post-graduate course students

  • For hostellers - INR 1,860 per month for 12 months
  • For day scholars - INR 960 per month for 12 months

Professional diploma and post-graduate diploma course students

  • For hostellers - INR 1,110 per month for 12 months
  • For day scholars - INR 720 per month for 12 months

Professional certificate course students

  • For hostellers – INR 930 per month for 12 months
  • For day scholars – INR 630 per month for 12 months

General courses up to graduate level

  • For hostellers - INR 804 per month for 12 months
  • For day scholars - INR 420 per month for 12 months

Post Graduate studies in Arts & Commerce & other subjects

  • For hostellers - INR 930 per month for 12 months
  • For day scholars - INR 630 per month for 12 months
Eligibility
  • An applicant must be a domicile of Delhi.
  • The applicant must belong to Minority community.
  • An applicant must be studying in Class 1 to 12 in a Government recognized school or a recognized colleges / professional / technical institutions at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
  • An applicant must have an annual family income less than INR 3 lakh.
  • The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship.

  • Previous qualifying class mark sheet / certificate
  • Fee structure ( if applicable)
  • Residential Proof
  • Bank details of students (Aadhaar seeded)
  • Fee receipt ( if applicable)
  • Verification letter (for outside Delhi application)
  • Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste Certificate (for minority self-declaration)
