Merit Scholarship to the Children of School Teachers

Scholarship Details

Eligible students of primary/secondary school teachers in Kerala state will get a scholarship of INR 50 per month. To get this opportunity, the applicant must be studying in first-year of HSC/VHSC or an undergraduate course in a Govt./Aided Arts and Science College.

Award

• Class 11th scholar - Rs.50/- per month
• Degree Scholar - Rs.50/- per month (for the first year)

NOTE: Each scholar living in the hostel will get Rs.25/- additional to the scholarship

Eligibility

• Applicant must be a native of Kerala.
• The applicant should be a son/daughter of a Primary/Secondary School Teacher.
• Applicant must be a first-year student of HSC/VHSC or an undergraduate course in a Govt./Aided Arts and Science College.
• Family income of the teachers must not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh from all sources.

Documents Needed

• Aadhar Card of the candidate.
• Recent passport size photograph of the candidate.
• Bank account details of the candidate with any of the banks - South Indian Bank/Federal Bank/State Bank of India/State Bank of Travancore.
• Eligibility certificate of plus 1 or degree program.
• Domicile Certificate Of Kerala.
• Printout of the registration form. Declaration with the income certificate.
• Salary certificate of the applicant’s parent.
