Scholarship Details

A new welfare scheme for minority communities has been launched by the government of Kerala to promote higher education in the state. With the help of the Mother Teresa Scholarship, financial assistance will be provided to the minority communities such as Shikh Muslim Buddha Parsis Jains, and Christian to continue the Paramedical/ Nursing courses. The whole procedure of this scheme is handled by the Department of Minority Welfare and the department of a college education. The main aim of launching this scheme is to promote higher education in minority communities category to create an educated environment around them.

Award

Around Rs. 15,000 per annum will be given to the minorities categories such as Sikh, Muslim, Budha, Parsis, Jain’s and Christian

Eligibility

• An applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala
• An applicant must belong to the minority communities such as Muslims, Sikh, Budha, Parsis, Jain’s and Christian
• The annual family income of the candidates should not exceed more than 8 lakhs per annum
• He or she must be an applicant of Nursing/ Paramedical Diploma courses.

• Admission certificate of class 9th and 12th

• The home page will appear in front of you.
• On the homepage, you have to click on the option of Scholarships
• A new web page will appear in front of you
• Now look under the section of Scholarships on the present page
• Choose the option of the Mother Teresa Scholarship
• Now read the given instruction carefully
• After reading the terms and condition click on Apply Online
• The registration form will be displayed on your screen
• Now you have to fill the application forms with the details such as

• After entering the details attach all your important documents along with your photograph
• Now tick the declaration after reading the terms and condition and enter the Captcha Code
