Nagaland State Merit Scholarship

Scholarship Details

Nagaland State Merit Scholarship provided by The Directorate of Higher Education Nagaland. The main initiative is to provide financial assistance to the students who are not able to pursue their higher education. 11 to post graduate level students are benefited by this scholarship.

Award

The Nagaland government will provide variable scholarship amount to the selected scholar.

Eligibility

• Applicants should be a permanent resident of Nagaland.
• Applicants must be pursuing post matric studies in recognised institutions.
• The minimum qualifying percentage of marks in the Class 10/11 exam it should be 80%.
• The minimum qualifying percentage of marks in the HSSLC/Degree Exam should be 70%.

Documents Needed

• Students Mark Sheet and Admit Cards of Examination from Class 10 onwards
• Applicant must have Schedule Tribe and Indigenous Certificate
• Students Admission receipt
• Applicant must have Front page of Bank Passbook
• Aadhaar Card of the student
• School/ College/ University Registration/ Affiliation Certificate of the student
• Students Passport photograph

How To Apply

• STEP:1 Open the official website of the Common Scholarship portal Nagaland
• STEP:2 Choose register button and registration application form will open on the screen
• STEP:3 Start filling the details in the form as asked
• STEP:4 Select Register option and complete the registration process by completing verifying process
• STEP:5 Go to the apply link and select the scholarship want to apply for
• STEP:6 Fill the rest application form and complete all the formalities
• STEP:7 Upload the image, signature and other documents
• STEP:8 Submit the application form and take print out of it
• STEP:9 Send the printed application to Scholarship Section, Directorate of Higher Education, Below New Secretariat Complex, Nagaland, Kohima-797001
