Scholarship Details

Nagaland State Research Fellowship scheme provided by Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland. The scheme is for the students belonging from ST and Indigenous Category of Nagaland. M.Phil/ Ph.D. pursuing students are benefited under this scholarship. The scholarship aim to provide financial assistance to the students and help them to get a better future.

Award

Selected scholar will get variable monetary benefits under this scheme.

Eligibility

• Students must belonging from ST,Indigenous Category of Nagaland.
• An applicant must be pursuing M.Phil/ Ph.D/ D.Litt. course from recognized Universities situated in India.
• Scholars who have availed this Scholarship three times are no longer eligible.
• Applicant must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship/fellowship/stipend scheme.
• Applicant must not be an employee of any government/semi government establishment.

Documents Needed

• Attested Xerox copies of class 10 admit card and mark sheet.
• Attested Xerox copies of last qualifying final examination Marksheet and Admit Card.
• Attested Xerox copy of Scheduled Tribe Certificate and Indigenous Certificate issued by competent designated authority.
• Xerox copy of the Recognition letter of the University (Not necessary for Central University)
• A copy of the Synopsis of the proposed Research Work duly countersigned by the Guide or Supervisor (for PhD scholars)
• A Xerox attested copy of the Registration Card/Letter (for PhD scholars).
• Xerox copy of the front page of Bank Passbook.
• Xerox copy of the Aadhaar Card.
• Xerox copy of the Admission receipt.
• One recent passport photograph should be pasted on the printed form.

How To Apply

• STEP:1 Open the official website of the Common Scholarship portal Nagaland.
• STEP:2 Choose register button and registration application form will open on the screen.
• STEP:3 Start filling the details in the form as asked.
• STEP:4 Select Register option and complete the registration process by completing verifying process.
• STEP:5 Go to the apply link and select the scholarship want to apply for.
• STEP:6 Fill the rest application form and complete all the formalities.
• STEP:7 Upload the image, signature and other documents.
• STEP:8 Submit the application form and take print out of it.
• STEP:9 Send the printed application to Scholarship Section, Directorate of Higher Education, Below New Secretariat Complex, Nagaland, Kohima-797001.
